This week on The Rant, Chip sits in as guest host and talks more on Trapper Ethics. Specifically, what should you be thinking of when trapping in a high theft area and how to avoid getting your equipment stolen. One thought I forgot to mention in the show is that it is always a good idea to make some type of distinguishing mark on all of your equipment….besides just a trap tag. This way, if your equipment is stolen and recovered (with tags removed) you can point to this distinguishing mark and prove the trap belonged to you. This can be a simple engraving or punch mark or something, just as long as its uniform on all of your equipment and not obvious to the thieves.
